What are the payment terms?

We generally ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking (if out with 6 weeks from arrival
date).
We will then send out a gentle reminder by email for the balance 6 weeks before arrival.

Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we are! We have always accepted dogs (max 2 per cottage). The usual rules apply for
them. Keep of the soft furnishings and not in bedrooms, do not leave them unattended in the
cottage. We even supply dog bowls and poo bags! Small charge of £20 per dog per stay.
 

Parking
We have ample amount of parking for all cottages at High Kirkland. Violet Grove has off
street parking too.

Do you have an electric car charging point?
We have just installed this point which is very exciting. Payment is by an app and full instructions
are provided in the house book when you arrive.

Do you supply travel cots and high chairs?
Yes, we do and at no extra charge. All we ask is that you bring your own cot sheet.

Is wood provided for the log burning stoves?
We will provide you with a full basket of logs for your arrival. After that it is up to yourself to source
logs. We can provide bags of logs at a price of £5 per bag. We would need to be informed before
you arrive.

How long can we stay?
We have a system of weekly Friday – Friday system. Our short break system works from Monday –
Friday or Friday – Monday. During quieter times we can be more flexible.

Are towels and linen provided?
You beds will be made up for your arrival. You will also be provided with a hand towel and bath
towel each for your stay.
