Where we are

We are approximately 30 miles west of Dumfries not far from the A75 road to Stranraer and the ports to Ireland.

Directions:

A few miles west of Castle Douglas, take the A711 road into Kirkcudbright, turn left in the town by the Royal Hotel on to the B727 road towards Gelston. Follow this road through a series of bends until you are on the outskirts of the town, and pass the cemetery on your left.

Immediately after this the main road takes a very sharp left turn, but with a minor road straight ahead.

Take this minor road, signed Dundrennan and Auchencairn.

High Kirkland Holiday Cottages are in an elevated position on your left approximately ¾ mile further on.  Look for the sign at the bottom of the drive.
