If you happen to be around on the Saturday the 3rd December 2016 be sure to look our for Santa who has hinted that he may make a visit up the river, oh and for that extra bit of Christmas shopping that you may need to do, the shops will stay open until 8.30 pm on the Thursday, 8th December 2016, leaving you in the area to stop off at one on the many lovely restaurants for that ‘Christmas is in the air’ kind of feeling….

When the day is done and the night is drawing in and you have spent another day in awe of all that Kirkcudbright has to offer, and perhaps eaten at another one of the many fine restaurants in Kirkcudbright, you can retire for the night safely in knowledge that another great day was had by one and all, and on returning to your cosy cottage at High Kirkland, you can sleep and slumber in the land of dreams and dream in the land of sleep.
